Ahara Studios has acquired valuable experiences in private and public broadcasting through an impeccable track record of its founder the late Charles Kofi Bucknor, an advertising mogul, actor, entrepreneur-founder and director of the first private television station; and also, as a former Director of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation.

 

Ahara Studios has developed and tried a new multiple production strategy based on a “studio system”, designed to lower the unit price per episode of each production while increasing the quality and quantity.

Our physical infrastructure is 5000sqft “sound stage” in a bonded warehouse, fully padded and air-conditioned, with toilet facilities, makeup and costume rooms, a master control room, a dedicated electrical transformer and a 60 kv backup generator.

With the largest sound stage Ahara Studios has become the focal point for the production of most high-end music videos, commercials, tv shows and movie CGI in Ghana.

 

We are committed to internally producing content for international markets such as Amazon Prime and Netflix as well as syndicate on local networks.
